Today we begin the series on star temples. The temples relating to all the stars can be covered within a distance of 1550 kms starting and ending in Chennai.
The temples can also be covered separately based on individual star needs.
I will be not going in the sequence as brought out in our religious texts, I had planned for a tour covering all of them and hence I will go in that travel sequence so that it will be useful to those who undertake this wonderful pilgrimage.
I am going to provide the list of temples, the presiding deity of the temple and the associated star with a brief description of the temple.
At the end of this effort, I will also try to provide with the travel route for all the 27 Kshetras starting and ending in Chennai which will include one of the kshetram for each star.
May the Lord shower his blessings on all his devotees and alleviate their difficulties and provide the much needed relief.
